Calculate a tip on a bill and divide the total evenly among a group.
Formula and example
Tip = bill × tip rate ÷ 100. Per person = (bill + tip) ÷ people.
Worked example
A 15% tip on 56 is 8.40. Two people pay 32.20 each including the tip.
Assumptions and limits
Enter the bill in any currency, but use the same currency for every amount. Each share is rounded for display and actual cash rounding may differ.
