Divide a bill among people and optionally add a shared extra percentage.
Formula and example
Per person = bill × (1 + extra rate ÷ 100) ÷ people.
Worked example
A 87.50 bill split three ways is 29.17 per person (rounded to two decimal places).
Assumptions and limits
People must be a whole number. It divides evenly and does not handle individual item totals, unequal shares or cash rounding.
